Sergeant Rick Uribe began his law enforcement career in October of 2002 with the Hollister Police Department. After serving the residents of the City of Hollister, Rick Uribe chose join the San Benito County Sheriff’s Office in October of 2005. This transition allowed him to better serve all of the residents in San Benito County. During his time with the Sheriff’s Office, Rick Uribe has served as Patrol Deputy, a Field Training Officer, and a Defensive Tactics Instructor. Rick Uribe promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 2007 and has since also served as a Patrol Sergeant, Detective Sergeant and a Narcotics Task Force Sergeant. He currently has returned to the Patrol Division of the Sheriff’s Office and also continues to remain a part of the agency’s Training Unit.
Sgt. Rick Uribe has remained active within the Deputy Sheriff’s Association (D.S.A), effectively being elected to several D.S.A Board positions and participating on various related committees. Sgt. Uribe has served repeatedly in prior year contract negotiations and participated in various DSA sponsored community events. Sgt. Rick Uribe looks forward to effectively serving as the D.S.A President and expanding the relationship between the residents of San Benito County and the San Benito County Deputy Sheriff’s Association.
